With one of the largest transracial and transcultural adopted communities being in Minnesota, the Minnesota Transracial Film Festival (MNTRFF) was incepted by the international adoptee organization AdopSource in order to showcase both the community and its rich diversity, as well as some of the emerging voices telling their point of view through film, words, and music since 2009.
In 2012, AdopSource partnered with AK Connection and Watch Adoptee Films to develop and evolve to include both adoptee-centric films, films of interest to the transracial and multicultural communities, and to the greater community as a whole. MNTRFF 2013This year's festival will focus on international/transracial adoptees through the generations.
In addition, we're pleased to announce that a moderated panel has been added to the Minnesota Transracial Film Festival. The purpose of the panel will be to go more in-depth into the films and how/if they are linked by a larger context. DATE
